* "Navarro's Notes' "Never Forgotten" 6Th Installment Pitching Legend: *

One of the greats of the game with a unique pitching style and pinpoint accuracy. "El Presidente" was & still is one of my favorite Major League Baseball pitchers of all time. He had a side winding - high kick stand delivery with a lot of personality & charisma to match. Not to mention, he is The first Nicaraguan-born major leaguer.

Good to see that he is still alive and well. He is the current bullpen coach with the Houston Astros.

Who can forget him & all his great accomplishments in the game. Dennis made a mark on the many teams he was with as you can see whom he played for in a legendary pitching career.

It is arguable that his most successful pitching years, were with Montreal which included, his perfect game garnering him the name "El Perfecto" as apart of The Montreal Expos on July 28Th 1991 VS. The L.A. Dodgers, becoming The 1st Latin-American Born pitcher to accomplish this feet and the 13Th pitcher at that point to pitch a perfect game. Then again, he did win a World Championship with Baltimore. Either way, it's apart of his staggering career in the Majors.

Below, here is a quick recap of his perfect game thanks to The Baseball Page's official YouTube channel:

Before I check out here, take a look at this great photo tribute video to Dennis below. Note the great song:
